We are looking to fill the Full-Time Assistant Director of Culinary Services position at RiverMead. This role is vital to our community, ensuring our residents have exceptional dining experiences. Key responsibilities include:

- Directly supervising all service personnel to ensure proper service and sanitation procedures are followed before, during, and after meals.

- Assisting in providing quality food and an enjoyable dining experience for residents, guests, and staff.

- Handling situations in compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

- Supervising special functions to ensure proper service.

- Supervise waitstaff personnel's orientation, training, evaluation, and counseling to meet department standards.

- Ensuring adequate staffing during callouts in all shifts and dining areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Associate degree or equivalent in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or Culinary Management

- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of dining room service techniques, resident relations, plate presentation, sanitation, food handling, personnel administration, and special functions.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a team.

- Must be self-directed and dependable.

- Must be able to work every other weekend and some holidays
