We are currently seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our Culinary Services team as Bussers. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the exceptional dining experience for our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining area and providing excellent customer service.

RiverMead is a not-for-profit, full-service LifeCare Community in Peterborough, New Hampshire. As a full-service community, we offer various services and amenities to our residents and the opportunity to work in a caring and supportive environment.

We have a $1.50 per-hour weekend differential that runs from Friday at 5:00 PM to Sunday at midnight.

Responsibilities:

A busser creates an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guests by keeping beverage glasses full, taking beverage and dessert orders, adhering to sanitation and safety policies, and clearing and cleaning tables, chairs, and the environment.

Duties:

  • Upon residents and guests reserving tables, pours water promptly and returns to take beverage orders within two minutes of residents/guests sitting down with appetizers.
  • Accurately takes dessert orders and serves them promptly.
  • Follows proper clearing techniques for each course and ensures residents have the correct flatware for dessert and coffee.
  • When available, assist servers with bussing trays and pouring water for residents in formal dining venues.
  • Follows established style and order of service while bussing in the dining venues and during special functions.
  • Follows pantry timeline to ensure all duties are completed on time.
  • Ensures all requested items are inside the “to-go baskets” before they are distributed to residents.
  • Cleans work area and equipment. Maintains a clean, safe, neat environment for residents, self, and other staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum two years of high school required, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment!
